The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 retained players list has been announced, revealing the squads retained by all five teams ahead of the upcoming auction in New Delhi. The auction is scheduled for November 27, 2025.
Retention Rules
- Each franchise could retain up to five players.
- A maximum of three capped Indian players could be retained per team.
- Up to two overseas players were allowed in retention.
- If a team chose to retain five players, at least one had to be an uncapped Indian player.
